Finishing up a few LTC's then moving back into scrapbooking for summer. I might slip and LTC in there now and then but trying hard not too since I NEED to get some scrapbooking done. And then I can get new paper so its all good!! Will post pics soon of LTC's ive put out lately.

Dang it! I hate internet change so much!! I like the old blogger so much better, so much easier. Oh well I will learn this one too I guess. So...last night Facebook wouldn't let me load pictures and not so much today either so look where I am. Heh! Heh! I have been completing projects and it feels good to get them done and free up space. Im almost caught up with LTC's and am going to bring out the scrapbooking again for summer. Last night I made Sophia's tooth fairy pillow. I love it. Im thinking of making more and putting them in my bookstore also. They will look great with the reading pillows. That was the big surprise from my last post. Reading pillows. They are turning out great and my Mom LOVES hers. She uses it every day. She says its great, and eases her hands, that is a great thing for any elderly people with hand problems. I dont have any pics of my reading pillows yet but I have them on display in the book store. They are $30 each. The tooth fairy pillows will be $13 each. Let me know what you think. :) The scissors are to give you an idea of size, The ribbon loop is to hang it on a doorknob if you would like.

My poor poor unused blog. I love blogging and hate Facebook for ruining it. I do have a job, went back to an old job. It works. Also have my 5 year old granddaughter living with me and need I say more about why I dont blog anymore. Love her, hate not blogging. :( I still havent even sewed up my last giveaway to giveaway. How sad. And its all still sitting right here because I have every intention of completing that. Along with a ton of other projects. All sitting here. < Heavy Sigh > One day at a time, one project at a time. So in amongst all this I have started a little side business. Past Pages Used Books. I am located in Courtyard Gardens in the old restaurant part. I am so excited about this. I have always always wanted a used book store and this is the beginning. Right now im just 'renting' space from Courtyard but I hope someday it leads into my own store. Boy, do I have visions and daydreams...ahhhhh...they make me happy though. Im just so amazed I have actually started towards this goal and not just dreaming of it all the time. Im starting small and just working out of my paychecks so its not that grand right now but it slowly will work its way there, more reason to keep stopping in to see whats new. I plan on adding books on a regular basis to keep that always refreshed also. And lots of good sales on already priced down books. Then soon I hope to have some pos items like bookmarks and such. If I can find someone to make very nice homemade ones I will carry those instead of mass produced ones. And last but not least I will have some of my homemade items in there. One already is on display but its a surprise for right now. Heehee!! I will let you in on that very very soon!!!

Unemployed...

Now that im unemployed again I should have more time to keep this blog updated. Its going to be my new home after Facebook changes so I really need to play here more often.

So when I last left off I had a couple LTC's to show off and I will do that here in a day or two but first im pretty sure I had some craft to give away. And I do. :)

My Poor Neglected Blog..

I havent forgot about you, just havent had alot of time for you.

I have made things and just havent posted about them. Sad. And now its Christmas time and some things I cant blog about yet. Hahaha!! Some I can though.

I believe I have made only one new LTC since my last post and I HATE it. But I will post about it and why I hate it so much.

I have also found a FUN, ADDICTING website, yes sorry old blog friend, that is where I have been spending most of my time. Pinterest. A crafters paradise, a well of information, ideas, and fun stuff to make. And yes, most of what I have made lately came from there or renewed an idea of things I wanted to make from the past. And yes I have been making things. I even cleaned off a catch all table and set up my sewing machine. Scrapbooking has been pushed to the back for a bit. Inevitably I will get burned out on sewing, crafting,etc..and will need to scrapbook myself back to relaxation again but for now im having some dang fun.

AND yes I need to get back to my giveaways. Especially since I have also joined a facbook page for home crafters from NW Iowa to sell some things, although its still a very small group and I havent sold a damn thing yet I still going to try, BUT my point is..I have practice pieces to give away and still need lots more practice. Haha. My sewing skills are not that good but it doesnt stop me as we all know. And I have acquired a large (to me) amount of fun fabric to play with also.

I dont have as many hours at work this Winter so I plan on using up as much of my inventory of fabric and paper as I can. And hopefully I can sell some stuff to buy more. Hahaha!

Anyway just a bunch of information and ramblings here.

I do have one little project im working on to perfect before I post in my album of things for sale on that facebook page, so if you want one of my practice pieces just comment YES PLEASE and give me your address if you dont think I have it and put your name in your comment.

After Christmas I will get back to posting my creations with pictures, just dont want to ruin any Christmas surprises. :) And to Janie, I hope you like the things I made for you per our Christmas Present Pinterest Style. :)

Today is the day...

Im going to be mailing out 2 pkgs. Seems I only know 2 ladies with babies. Also included in Liz' is her prize from before Easter when my life went crazy. I only made one and there will only be one. It turned out exactly as I thought but as time goes on it wont be as cool. Lesson learned. Ha ha!
