My poor poor unused blog. I love blogging and hate Facebook for ruining it. I do have a job, went back to an old job. It works. Also have my 5 year old granddaughter living with me and need I say more about why I dont blog anymore. Love her, hate not blogging. :( I still havent even sewed up my last giveaway to giveaway. How sad. And its all still sitting right here because I have every intention of completing that. Along with a ton of other projects. All sitting here. < Heavy Sigh > One day at a time, one project at a time. So in amongst all this I have started a little side business. Past Pages Used Books. I am located in Courtyard Gardens in the old restaurant part. I am so excited about this. I have always always wanted a used book store and this is the beginning. Right now im just 'renting' space from Courtyard but I hope someday it leads into my own store. Boy, do I have visions and daydreams...ahhhhh...they make me happy though. Im just so amazed I have actually started towards this goal and not just dreaming of it all the time. Im starting small and just working out of my paychecks so its not that grand right now but it slowly will work its way there, more reason to keep stopping in to see whats new. I plan on adding books on a regular basis to keep that always refreshed also. And lots of good sales on already priced down books. Then soon I hope to have some pos items like bookmarks and such. If I can find someone to make very nice homemade ones I will carry those instead of mass produced ones. And last but not least I will have some of my homemade items in there. One already is on display but its a surprise for right now. Heehee!! I will let you in on that very very soon!!!

Unemployed...

Now that im unemployed again I should have more time to keep this blog updated. Its going to be my new home after Facebook changes so I really need to play here more often.

So when I last left off I had a couple LTC's to show off and I will do that here in a day or two but first im pretty sure I had some craft to give away. And I do. :)

My Poor Neglected Blog..

I havent forgot about you, just havent had alot of time for you.

Thats about to change. :)

I have made things and just havent posted about them. Sad. And now its Christmas time and some things I cant blog about yet. Hahaha!! Some I can though.

I believe I have made only one new LTC since my last post and I HATE it. But I will post about it and why I hate it so much.

I have also found a FUN, ADDICTING website, yes sorry old blog friend, that is where I have been spending most of my time. Pinterest. A crafters paradise, a well of information, ideas, and fun stuff to make. And yes, most of what I have made lately came from there or renewed an idea of things I wanted to make from the past. And yes I have been making things. I even cleaned off a catch all table and set up my sewing machine. Scrapbooking has been pushed to the back for a bit. Inevitably I will get burned out on sewing, crafting,etc..and will need to scrapbook myself back to relaxation again but for now im having some dang fun.

AND yes I need to get back to my giveaways. Especially since I have also joined a facbook page for home crafters from NW Iowa to sell some things, although its still a very small group and I havent sold a damn thing yet I still going to try, BUT my point is..I have practice pieces to give away and still need lots more practice. Haha. My sewing skills are not that good but it doesnt stop me as we all know. And I have acquired a large (to me) amount of fun fabric to play with also.

I dont have as many hours at work this Winter so I plan on using up as much of my inventory of fabric and paper as I can. And hopefully I can sell some stuff to buy more. Hahaha!

Anyway just a bunch of information and ramblings here.

I do have one little project im working on to perfect before I post in my album of things for sale on that facebook page, so if you want one of my practice pieces just comment YES PLEASE and give me your address if you dont think I have it and put your name in your comment.

After Christmas I will get back to posting my creations with pictures, just dont want to ruin any Christmas surprises. :) And to Janie, I hope you like the things I made for you per our Christmas Present Pinterest Style. :)

Today is the day...

Im going to be mailing out 2 pkgs. Seems I only know 2 ladies with babies. Also included in Liz' is her prize from before Easter when my life went crazy. I only made one and there will only be one. It turned out exactly as I thought but as time goes on it wont be as cool. Lesson learned. Ha ha!

At the time of the contest I had 3 lists sitting here. BUT Janie is more close to reality with her guess of 11.

I have a book of gifts my family has received and given. Just for fun to look back.
I have a budget list notebook.
I have a things to do master list notebook.
I have about 4 running at times, list of things to get done, I dont want to have to turn pages so I keep those desktop at almost all times.
I have a who got what craft notebook.
I have a zine notebook, of ideas and a copy of each one I put out.
I have an address/password notebook.
And last but not least, numerous pieces of papers laying around with things I dont want to forget or ideas or whatnot on them.
Hahahahaha!!!
Oh wait the most important list of them all....my gift list. Its things I want.

Crazy. Hahaha.

So I will be mailing Liz off her prize and then a few more will go out and then we will see what happens next. I have been thinking of a zine but no topic comes to mind and its not one of those things I can force.

Also im getting ready for Jordan, April and Sophia to visit for a couple of weeks. So the next month might be crazy and things will take longer than normal to get out and get moving. Please be patient.

I got a very nice Thank you card from Maya for buying GS cookies from her and some awesome artwork from Adam. I hung them both in my craft room. Thank you both for thinking of your Aunt Tess. :)
